  Hands down, the worst experience white water rafting that my group of friends ever had...and this was our third trip this summer. We made reservations through a travel company for a "paddle (hence, why would they give us paddles if it was a float?? We were not told this would be a "float") and saddle day trip". Upon arrival, we noticed the the life jackets were thrown on the ground and we were told to pick one out (extremely unprofessional) and we were handed helmets. Our bus guides were amazing and pretty much the only thing good about the trip. Your busses are filthy! When told about the history of Kremmling we were told to look out the window. Your windows were so dirty, people were standing up on the bus while moving in effort to see what Ian was talking about. Liability! Now about our "float". We are three ladies in our 50s. We were placed in a boat with a four year old! I paddled 57 times during the entire trip. We made it clear that we wanted to jump off the cliff. Upon reaching the cliff via our raft, Max (? name ?) and Jarrod (we were told Jarrod was on our boat in effort to be trained) yelled at their friends "I didn't know there were going to be mermaids here!) and passed the cliff and went around the corner, banked the boat, and we sat there for 30-45 minutes waiting on the other boats to jump off the cliff. During the wait, my friend got in the water that was about 1 foot deep. When getting out, Jarrod (who was not our guide) duked her despite the depth of the water and she was injured. We have photos of this. Our guide (Max) jumped off the boat while we were waiting for 45 minutes. He should have NEVER left the boat as he was our guide. Lastly, our raft was responsible for three kayaks as well as our raft. So, we went so slow in effort for Max to 'help' the kayakers. NOT SAFE!!!

  Had a fantastic time rafting with AVA out of Kremmling! Had a 4 year old and an 11 year old with me, and the morning float trip was lots of fun for both of them. Our guide, Alexander, was great- super friendly and knowledgeable, and went out of his way to make the trip fun for everyone. Will definitely go with AVA again on our next river trip!

  We took a 1/2 level 2 float and a 1/2 day UTV ride. Summer 2021. It was so much fun, I wish we did a whole day of each! Alexander was our “tour guide” and kept us prepared and cracking up. Edie (our river guide) is so knowledgeable & fun! The experience was perfect and we will be back! Maybe every summer 😉

  6 of us did the half day Northern Co. River float. Our guide Nelson was great, professional, friendly, knowledgeable of both rafting, safety & all the river & surrounding facts (& fictions). And funny too. The float was very easy, too easy for our group, but you really don't know how newbies respond until they are in the river. We will step it up a notch next time. We still really enjoyed every minute of GREAT family time, confined to a small area with no technology to interrupt us. Well worth it. We will be back!

  We had a blast! We booked this trip for a bachelorette party and it did not disappoint. The staff was wonderful. They were all very knowledgeable and kept us entertained. Nelson was our guide and he is an absolute gem. He had us cracking up the entire time and definitely made it a memorable experience. I will be back!

  Time is short on a family vacation to Colorado and we selected our family activities carefully. We are so glad we spent half a day floating on the Colorado River with our guide Ryan from AVA. Everything from arrival through transportation and especially the float itself were very well executed. We felt very safe and were able to get wet, to put our hands on paddles, and even jump in the river. We went through some exciting rapids. You should take your family on this trip.

  Thank you AVA for a great rafting adventure today! We loved our guides - Christian, John and Edie! From the beginning, everything was well organized and ready to go. Our guides made it fun and gave us great information on rafting and the area. We loved all the things they did for us - responding to our want of the most fun on the river, any stops we wanted, and threw in a few other well-worth it stops along the way. Lunch was great too! Loved the all day rafting - well worth it and the perfect amount of time on the water. We had older kids, but young kids did this one too. An awesome time!

  Our family of 5 had an amazing float trip. Our guide, Ian, was so fun and was very good at keeping everyone safe while having a ton of fun! He told us stories and made jokes that had my kids rolling. He was also really good at incorporating our youngest, who is just 3. He would tell us when it was safe for her to move around and let her “row” some. Our two oldest got to jump off a rock into the river, which was definitely a highlight for them! It was such a great adventure- I can not recommend it more!! Thanks AVA!!

  Our guide was Ian and he was excellent. It was thrilling for our 3 year old and 7 year old AND for the adults which isn’t easy to accomplish!
